About Dr. Orlando Portal
Dr. Orlando Portal is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine who completed his residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He has also completed continuing medical education through Harvard University Boston Massachusetts, further enhancing his clinical expertise and commitment to excellence in patient care.
Dr. Portal graduated in his native Cuba as a surgeon, where he practiced for 10 years, gaining extensive experience in surgical diagnostics. As a result of this experience, he has contributed to medical literature with publications in Wound Care journals.
He provides personalized, comprehensive care for adult patients throughout the Riverview and Tampa Bay communities. As a full-service primary care physician, Dr. Portal manages a wide range of healthcare needs, from preventive wellness visits to the treatment and management of complex medical conditions.
